This 09-day cricket adventure is more than just playing three thrilling 40 Overs matches. It is an immersive journey into the heart of Sri Lankan cricket and culture. Kick starting with a special training session at the Sri Lanka Cricket Board, players will learn the nuances of batting and bowling in humid conditions. Matches will be played against renowned Sri Lankan cricket clubs and school teams, offering a true taste of competitive cricket.
Beyond the field, the tour blends culture and adventure, from exploring breath taking heritage sites to adrenaline fuelled water sports. Every match day includes breakfast, lunch, and tea on the ground, ensuring players stay energized. Welcome To Sri Lanka - Transfer to Colombo

Skyline Voyages appointed travel tour guide will meet you and your team at Bandaranaike International Airport, and we transfer to your hotel in Negombo approximately 30 minutes away. Premadasa International Stadium, a historic venue hosting thrilling matches, or dine at the Ministry of Crab, co-owned by cricket legends Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara, blending gourmet seafood with a nod to the sport’s legacy. Colombo Practice Session & City Exploration

The team will focus on honing their skills during the practice session. Proper preparation with the right gear, hydration, and safety measures will ensure a productive and enjoyable day. Coaches will guide players, emphasizing teamwork and individual improvement, while everyone stays energized and protected under the sun.
Practice session at a local cricket ground
The team will participate in a one-day cricket camp led by Sri Lanka’s former cricket legend and coaches, focusing on pitching techniques, adapting to Sri Lankan turf, and improving batting and bowling skills. The session emphasized how the unique Sri Lankan pitches, known for their spin and bounce, can challenge players and how to adapt to these conditions.
Main Instructor Anusha Samaranayake will share valuable tips on reading the pitch, adjusting footwork for spin-friendly surfaces, and mastering bowling variations. Players also learn about maintaining balance while batting and executing precise bowling techniques suited to local conditions.
The camp is an excellent opportunity for the team to gain insights from experienced cricketers and refine their skills for better performance on Sri Lankan grounds.
ANUSHA SAMARANAYAKE is a former Sri Lankan first-class cricketer and a highly respected cricket coach, specializing in fast bowling. Born on February 25, 1962, he played domestic cricket for the Colombo Cricket Club (CCC) and later transitioned into coaching, where he found his true calling.
With a deep passion for developing fast bowlers, Anusha has served as a bowling coach for Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), working closely with the national team and various development squads. His hands-on coaching style emphasizes technical refinement, mental toughness, and injury prevention, helping shape some of Sri Lanka’s leading pace bowlers.

Throughout his coaching career, Anusha has been instrumental in nurturing young talent, fostering a new generation of fast bowlers, and contributing to Sri Lanka's competitive edge in international cricket.

The right Cricket Gear & Equipment, including bats, helmets, pads, gloves, and spikes, is essential for match readiness. Health & Safety Essentials like sunscreen, hydration packs, cooling towels, and a personal first-aid kit keep players refreshed and injury-free. Comfortable extra clothing, quick energy-boosting snacks, and strategy notes ensure both physical endurance and mental sharpness throughout the game. With everything in place, the team can step onto the field with confidence, ready to give their best!

Venue: Leading School Venue or Cricket Club Venue (e.g. R. Premadasa International Stadium or a prestigious school ground in Colombo)

- 10.00am: Match begins 40 over game between England Cricket Club vs Sri Lankan Cricket Club.
- Lunch Break (Approx. 13:30–14.00 hrs.) Lunch provided at the match venue for both teams, supporting staff, and officials. Menu tailored to players’ and staff needs, featuring local Sri Lankan cuisine and hydration options.
- Match Resumes (Approx. 14.15 hrs.) Second session continues until conclusion (estimated 17:30–18:00 hrs. depending on overs and interruptions).
- TV Coverage: Full match covered by a professional TV production team, live streamed on YouTube for global access, showcasing Colombo’s cricket passion. (Optional not-include the Package)

DAY 4
From Rustic Village Paths to Untamed Wilderness!

Today, please wear your walking shoes as we will explore the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on foot. When visiting the temple, you must wear clothing that cover your shoulders and knees. Please also bring insect repellent, sunscreen, and a hat.
We will check out from the Colombo hotel today. Kindly leave your bags outside your room; the bellboy will collect them and place them in the lobby. After breakfast, please check your baggage with the bus driver before it is loaded onto the bus. If you wish, you can give a tip to the hotel staff.
Pickup: 9.00 am hotel pick up from your hotel lobby after breakfast.
PINNAWALA ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE / 11.30AM- 01.30PM

Approximately 2½ hours’ drive through lush green countryside our second stop is the inspiring Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Established in 1975 with just five calves, the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage spans a 25-acre property and offers a unique opportunity to observe baby elephants being bottle-fed or roaming freely in a safe environment. Watch these gentle giants during their feeding time and enjoy the sight of them frolicking in the waters of the River Maha Oya during their bath, an experience unlike anywhere else in the world.
For your convenience, we can arrange lunch at a nearby riverside restaurant (lunch is not included in the tour package).
SPICE GARDEN | 02.30PM – 03.30PM

We will stop at the Mawanella Spice Garden, offering a fascinating insight into Sri Lanka’s rich spice heritage. Explore the spice plants and learn about their medicinal properties. Experience the aromas of cardamom, clove, and cinnamon, and sample raw chocolate and vanilla. The garden also provides a complimentary cooking demonstration and a 20-minute oil massage. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase massage oils, spices, and Ayurvedic medicines.

The match promises to be competitive and a great opportunity for team bonding and skill showcase.

- 10:00am: Match begins 2nd - 40 overs match between [Team A] and [Team B].

Spiritual Start to the Day followed by an Epic Adventure

Today, please wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees when visiting the temple. Additionally, bring insect repellent, sunscreen, and a hat. We will check out from the Kandy hotel today.

TEMPLE OF THE SACRED TOOTH RELIC: 09.30AM – 11.00AM

Kandy is a picturesque hill town situated on a lake and home to Temple of the Tooth, Sri Lanka’s most important Buddhist relic. We begin with a visit to the temple during the ceremony. The Tooth of Buddha was taken from the funeral pyre in 543 BC and only found its way to Sri Lanka in the 4th century AD. There are normally hundreds of worshippers who visit the temple each day and it is open to the public. The temple’s daily rituals, conducted by monks and accompanied by traditional drumming, provide an authentic glimpse into the country’s Buddhist practices.
TEA FACTORY: 11.30AM – 12.30PM
Admission FREE (Approximately 1 hour from Temple of the Tooth)
After the tea plucking experience, you will start a small hike through the plantation to an area where you can enjoy some beautiful views of the surrounding villages. Visit a Tea Factory and a plantation where you would see how the world’s famous “Ceylon Tea” is manufactured.
GALLE PORT: 05.00PM - 07.00PM

Galle is a captivating coastal city in southern Sri Lanka, renowned for its rich history, colonial architecture, and vibrant cultural scene. At its heart lies the UNESCO World Heritage listed Galle Fort, a 16th-century fortress built by the Portuguese and later fortified by the Dutch. Within the fort's walls, visitors can explore narrow cobblestone streets lined with European-style buildings, traditional churches, mosques, and charming boutiques.
The city offers a plethora of activities for travelers. You can visit the iconic Galle Lighthouse, stroll along the fort's ramparts for panoramic ocean views, or delve into maritime history at the National Maritime Museum.

TURTLE HATCHERY: 10.30AM – 11.30AM

On the way, we will stop at the Turtle Hatchery. The center welcomes local volunteers, providing an educational opportunity to learn about the threats facing turtles both in marine and terrestrial environments. Visitors also have the chance to observe baby turtles up close. The hatchery collects eggs from beaches where they are vulnerable to predators and poachers, incubates them, and provides care until the hatchlings are released a few days after emerging.

MADU RIVER SAFARI: 12.30PM – 15.30PM
Admission INCLUDED (Approximately 1 hour from Meetiyagoda Moonstone Mine)
The estuary of the Madu Ganga River represents a complex coastal ecosystem composed of mangroves and islands. It is considered one of the last remaining tracts of pristine mangrove forest in Sri Lanka. A boat excursion provides an effective means of observing the diverse flora and fauna, including monkeys feeding on fruits, water monitor lizards moving through the waterways, and birds such as cormorants, egrets, and kingfishers, which hunt along the banks. The river and lagoon contain approximately 64 islands, ranging from small islets hosting deserted shrines to larger islands supporting communities of up to 250 families, some of which are connected to the mainland via extensive footbridges.
